As the crisp air of fall settles over the Ozarks, the Garrison has reopened its doors with a refreshed menu and a dining experience unlike any other. Tucked beneath The Ozark Mill at Finley Farms, this fine dining social affair invites guests to savor the season through bold flavors, crafted cocktails and stunning views of the Finley River.

When you walk through the doors of The Ozark Mill, the hostess whispers the secret word for entrance into The Garrison. Guests can then walk down the staircase and into the intimate, candlelit dining room.

The Setting

The Garrison’s Prohibition-era theme honors the legacy of the Riverside Inn, once a popular spot along the Finley River run by Howard Garrison. Known for lively patio parties and Howard’s personal touch, the Riverside Inn was a community favorite, even drawing volunteers to help clean up after floods.

The Garrison has faced similar challenges, recently reopening in July after flood repairs. During the restoration, the team focused on ways to enhance the dining experience.

The Menu

The Garrison’s updated menu keeps favorites like Riverside fried chicken, sea scallops and mini pot roast, while adding new options such as oysters on the half shell. Diners will also find more gluten-free and dairy-free choices, including the Black Garlic Crusted Filet and Key Lime Entremet.

The covered patio overlooks the Finley River and Riverside Bridge and features fire pits for cooler evenings.

The Experience

While guests have always visited The Garrison for the experience, they can now opt to officially try The Garrison Experience, an eight-course meal made up of thoughtfully paired dishes. This culinary adventure features the chef’s signature dishes and seasonal favorites.

Guests looking for a more intimate experience can reserve The Pantry, a private dining room that accommodates up to 10 people. For larger gatherings, The Garrison can be rented to host up to 50 people for banquets, weddings and events.
