Black Lab Coffee Expands to Galloway

Your favorite pup-inspired coffee shop is on the move again! The Republic-based coffee shop Black Lab Coffee Co. opened a location in downtown Springfield earlier this year, and now they are taking over the former Springtown Coffee Co. space in Galloway. The new store has a super-convenient location just across the street from Sequiota Park and Galloway Creek Greenway. (For those post-jog coffee stops, or post-park sweet treats for the kids.) Black Lab Coffee Co.–Galloway opens sometime this week. They are even keeping some of Springtown Coffee Co.’s customer favorites on the menu for those loyal regulars. We love that! Keep your eyes peeled, and pop in for a latte or a “labbuccino” next time you're strolling Galloway Creek Greenway.

Spanish Eats in Branson

Have you tried Olé Eatery in Branson? We haven’t yet, but we’re dying to. The restaurant serves a menu of Spanish dishes, paellas and tapas—perfect for sharing with your favorite dining buddy. The menu has a few types of paellas (one made with black rice, one packed with a variety of seafood), tempting tapas like deep-fried pork belly chicharron, and a handful of desserts like churros and fried plantains. If you’ve tried it, let us know your favorite dish!

Welcome Back Brunch!

Have you missed spending a lazy Sunday morning indulging a brunch from The Order at Hotel Vandivort? We know we have. That’s why we were so jazzed when they brought back our favorite weekend meal. Yup, brunch is back, baby! Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can get all the good stuff. There are three types of eggs Benedict (the Southwest version is served on corn bread instead of an English muffin and, oh my god, yes please!), a fried green tomato BLT, sweet stuff like brioche French toast, lox toast made with house-cured salmon, and lots more. I don’t know about you, but we plan to celebrate the return of The Order’s brunch with some of their bottomless mimosas too.
