Try a Pumpkin-Spice Latte from The European

In a sea of pumpkin-spice latte options, the one from The European (105 Park Central Square, Springfield, MO) certainly stands out. Several key ingredients go into the making of this beauty of a beverage. For starters, it gets its creamy and decadently thick texture from a base of Ozark Mountain Creamery milk and syrup made with roasted pumpkin and ginger, which are both fresh. The house-made pumpkin spice mix coupled with the ginger and espresso creates a warming, comforting flavor that pretty much embodies a cozy fall sweater. One of our favorite fall traditions is grabbing this PSL to-go with a cardamom bun and going for a walk to look at the colorful fall foliage sprinkled between the historic buildings in downtown Springfield. However, if you opt to enjoy it in-house in a mug, it makes for an Instagrammable drink thanks to the addition of pumpkin spice crumble and whipped cream.
