What is your charity of choice, and why is it important to you?

Lost & Found Grief Center. Lost & Found helps children and their families that are in crisis from the loss of a loved one. It helps them put the pieces back together, so they can get up and put one foot in front of the other each day and regain a sense of a “new normal” in a household that is grief-stricken from its loss.

What do you think makes a woman beautiful?

When a woman is happy, she radiates beauty. Finding that happiness is what makes someone beautiful. Everyone’s happiness comes in different forms, and so does beauty.

Why do you think you’re a 10 Most Beautiful Women finalist?

Because I have super sweet friends…

Do you volunteer, or are you involved in any philanthropic or community organizations?

I am very involved in Lost & Found and have been on its board of directors for three years. I also donate jewelry and do fundraisers with my Silpada Designs Sterling Silver Jewelry Company for any organization that needs to raise money including many schools, CASA, BCFO, Isabel’s House, GYNCA, The Kitchen, The Discovery Center, GHS Tennis and Football and truly anyone who asks!

How are those experiences meaningful to you?

Giving back to the community that supports and takes care of our local families is truly the best thing we can do. As individuals, we can never do enough to help support all of these amazing organizations. If you can’t give money, then give your time.

Tell us what you do for a living:

I sell and recruit for Silpada Designs Sterling Silver Jewelry Company. I started in 2000 and have built a nationwide team of amazing women! We have so much fun!

What has been your proudest moment?

My proudest moment was when I was named 1 of 13 Founding Leaders in the Silpada Designs Company! I am most proud of my beautiful daughters and my wonderful husband of 23 years.

What has been your biggest hurdle to overcome?

Losing my father long before it was his time.

What are three words that describe you?

Happy, energetic and determined

What’s your favorite feature about yourself?

I love to walk and do yoga and exercise, so I am grateful for my feet!

When you were a child, who did you think was the most beautiful woman?

My mother because she had the biggest, sweetest heart. That along with her beauty was something to look up to!

What’s your favorite source of inspiration?

I am inspired by other successful women. Coming from a family of girls, I love to see women excel in their businesses and goals.

What advice would you give to a young girl about being beautiful?

Be yourself, exercise, be disciplined, love yourself and take care of the one body you were given.

What are your favorite ways to spend a day off?

Outside, being active in the sun and preferably by the ocean.

What is your most prized possession?

My golden doodle, Bella. She is amazing.

What is your Facebook status right now?

It’s about silver jewelry! Of course!

If you could have one talent that you don’t currently have, what would it be?

I would love to be able to sing!

What’s something that might surprise us about you, or a story you love to tell?

I was raised in California. I spent lots of weekends on the back of a fishing boat deep sea fishing, and I never get sea sick!
