At the start of this week, my plan was to highlight all of the ways we as a community can continue to support our local breweries and bars through another month of being closed. That plan changed Thursday, May 7 with the mayor's amendments to the Springfield-Greene County Road to Recovery Phase 1 order. This weekend, many of our favorite watering holes will open their doors with capacity limited to a maximum of 25 customers practicing proper physical distancing. However, if you're not quite ready to venture out into public just yet, the same curbside service will still be available in most cases.

So no matter your decision this weekend or in the coming weeks, continue to support local businesses that have been hit hard, and tip your bartenders and servers generously. Cheers.
