About Leadership Springfield
Leadership Springfield is the premier program for leadership development in the Ozarks, designed to inspire, develop and connect leaders to serve the Springfield community. Leadership Springfield’s programs give each participant a deeper understanding of the community and themselves. For more than three decades, Leadership Springfield has helped both emerging and established leaders take commitment to their community to a new level, connecting more than 1,000 graduates with local opportunities, needs, problems and resources.
Leadership Springfield is a member of the Association of Leadership Programs and offers a variety community leadership programs. The Signature Class is an intensive, nine-month program for those who seek leadership development and community engagement. The competitive application process opens each January. The Leadership Academy is offered to local high school juniors at no cost to students. The Academy Class is a nine-month program during the school year open to students from Springfield public and private schools. The competitive application process opens each January. The Access Class is a two-day crash course in our community offered quarterly with open registration. The Access Class is designed for mid to high level and licensed professionals new to the area or those seeking expanded professional connections. This class offers immediate connection to a network of local leaders through an inside look at Springfield. Registration is open anytime.
