There is nothing like sipping on a cold brew from Springfield Brewing Co. or  holding a glass of wine only found at Vino Cellars. or partaking in one of the many events at Cellar + Plate. The local vibe makes us feel like we are a part of something bigger so why not support these Springfield businesses all year long? Look no farther because we rounded up five beer or wine clubs that should definitely make your New Year’s resolutions list. 

Cherry Picker Package x Fare’s Wine Club

Price: $40 per month, $80 per month, $100 per month
Register: Stop in to register. 
What you get: Start with Tier One, a three-month commitment giving taste-testers one full bottle of a red and a white wine. Looking for a more serious commitment? The Tier Two membership is a six-month commitment and includes one crate of four bottles of wine. The Tier Three level is for serious wine-lovers with a special affection for 417-land. It includes one crate of four bottles of wine, one bag of The Coffee Ethic coffee and one bar of locally made Askinosie chocolate.
Insider tips: Those who subscribe are notified through email when their goodies are ready and can expect to pick them up the first week of the month. All wine club members are also the first to receive special offers on sales and events, plus Tier Two and Tier Three members receive waived corking fees. 

Springfield Brewing Co.’s Mug Club

Price: $80 per year
Register: Registration is only available at the end of the year. Mark your calendars now to ensure you snag a spot for next year. 
What you get: Members receive their own personal beer mug that hangs overhead from the stainless-steel rack at the downstairs bar. Other perks include a members-only T-shirt, advanced notice of new beer releases and 
invites to special events and more.
Insider tips: Spots are limited. 

Paddler’s Club

Price: $60 per year 
Register: Signups are usually on Black Friday so members can participate for a full year, so make sure you mark your calendar. You’ll want to sign up before the brewery runs out of mugs.
What you get: Members get 22-ounce pours for the price of a 16-ounce pour, plus they receive a glass mug, shirt and a members-only coupon book. Added bonus: when a Paddler uses his or her mug, he or she gets an extra dollar off each pint on Wednesdays and Sundays. 
Insider tips: Paddlers enjoy special tasting privileges at White River Brewing Company cook-off competitions throughout the year.

Vino Cellars’s Wine Club

Price: $40–70 a month
Register: Visit online to register. 
What you get: Members of the lower-level membership receive two wines a month for 12 months. The wine is always brand-new to the store and exclusive to Vino Cellars with a guaranteed combined minimum value of $40. Don’t need 24 bottles of wine? Check out the upper-level membership, called the Premier Quarterly Club. Members get two bottles in January, April, July and October. Priced at $70 per quarter, the bottles are usually themed. Members in both clubs get exclusive member pricing on all special events and a 10-percent discount when they visit the store.
Insider tips: Events exclusive to members are usually held the first Saturday of every month, where guests eat and sip complimentary wine. Even more of a bonus, they also receive a reusable tote that stores four bottles of wine. When they visit the store to pick up their goodies, they can choose two more bottles for a 20-percent discount. 

Cellar + Plate’s Cellar Society

Price: $35–70 per month 
Register: Email cellarandplate@gmail.com to register year-round.
What you get: Members choose from one of three tiers, which allow them to receive one tapas dish, special discounts on events and a spot at the monthly VIP Cellar Social. The Two Vines tier includes two bottles of wine, and you can mix and match red or white. The Two Worlds tier consists of two bottles of the same variety, but you can choose one from the New World, like New Zealand and Australia, and one from the Old World, like France or Italy. The uppermost tier is The Aficionado. This package is built for the more refined wine connoisseur and includes two bottles aged longer and from different parts of the world. 
Insider tips: Because wines included in The Aficionado are in limited quantities, this level is most expensive.
