Spring Menu at Morning Day Cafe

One of our favorite breakfast spots has a new spring menu that sounds so good. Who here is a fan of Eggs Benedict? All of us? Okay, cool, that’s what I thought. Morning Day Café has some new twists on that breakfast classic, plus some new plays on the always-popular breakfast nachos. To top it all off, pair one of their delicious dishes with a fun coffee beverage like a toasted coconut cappuccino or a vanilla lavender latte.

Coffee Ethic with the Colors

One of the O.G. specialty coffee stores in town has been working on their branding recently and they look so dang good! The Coffee Ethic are always active on social media, posting photos that make all their food and beverages look delicious. One of their latest posts was all about the spring menu drinks and I just loved that it was a spectrum of colors. The drinks include such concoctions as the Nitro Orange Blossom using the house nitro cold brew, honey syrup, orange slice and orange blossom water, and the L’Matcha with lemonade, matcha tea and lemon simple syrup.

Blooms Coffee Comes to Town

In the world of coffee, all sorts of fun and exciting beverages are being served with unique tasting lemonades, cool flavored cold coffees,  smoothies and much more and that’s exactly what Bloom’s Coffee Bar is preparing to bring to Springfield. With a passion to enhance the coffee shop experience in the midwest, this Bloomington, Illinois-based shop is coming in with a large menu and a fun and creative flavor imagination. The new shop is set to open sometime in spring of this year on Battlefield Road near the mall. In the meantime, go check out their site and keep an eye on their social media.

Progress’s Chef Tasting Dinner

Chef Daniel Ernce, the mastermind behind the kitchen at Progress, has invited chef Trevor Tack to come and cook with him and create a night to remember. This will be one fantastic foodie experience with a seven-course meal and beverage pairings to suit each dish. The food will include salmon and trout croquettes, a cold carrot consommé, tempura fried mushrooms, a nori pasta dish, dry-aged duck and so much more. Here’s the link to see the whole menu.
