Rise and Dine at The Order

Walnut St., Springfield, 417-851-5299). We promise its complex mix of flavors designed by sous chef Michelle Rosselle will delight even the most discerning morning diners. It starts with a perfectly made brioche French toast that is then zhuzhed up with blueberries, candied orange, brown butter crumble (dear God, please give me all the brown butter anything!), spiced maple syrup and a dry curacao glaze. The spiced syrup adds a lovely layer of flavor above the typical maple sweetness, and the whole dish is an indulgent start to the day.
