Grab Lunch and Eat Local at the Battlefield Mall Food Court
Next time you can’t decide where to grab lunch, just head to the mall. Turns out, you can eat local at the Battlefield Mall food court whether you want Mexican, Mediterranean or British fare.

It’s hard to believe, but the 1990s are practically vintage. That means high-waisted jeans, crop tops and overalls are back. And if these relics can rise from the grave like Cher’s plaid hemline in Clueless, then we can only hope it also means the return of another ’90s favorite: mall food courts. Luckily, the Battlefield Mall is a Shangri-la of fast food hits, but don’t get lost in the glow of the golden arches. There are plenty of local eats not to be missed. Grab a pasty and a “patio” seat at London Calling, or, if Mexican is calling your name, make a pit stop at Elotes Don Toño. This food truck opened a new location in the mall, which means you can fill up on homemade tamales and buttery, spiced elotes before, during and after shopping. For dessert, grab a bubble tea or sno ice parfait from Sno Bubble Tea or get an early dinner with a gyro platter from Greek in the Box. Hot tip: divide and conquer. The food court’s selection of local grub is ideal for sharing, so assign a spot to each member of your crew and grab a few extra red plastic trays and a large corner table. You’re going to need the extra elbow room.
