EAT

Top of the Rock

During a long weekend at Big Cedar, you need to visit Top of the Rock and grab a table at Osage Restaurant. Chow down on American fare like rotisserie roasted chicken, short ribs or ribeye. The restaurant is gorgeous with its wood beams, iron chandeliers, tapestries, custom artwork and artifacts.

PLAY

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

Nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is 10,000 acres of some of the Ozark Mountains’ best scenery. Streams, waterfalls, ancient burial caves and bridges dot the area, and visitors can go on a self-guided walk or bike around the property. Take advantage of the fishing, horseback riding and tram tours.

STAY

Big Cedar Lodge

Big Cedar Lodge has received national recognition and is one of the best places to stay and hole up for a while, exploring its trails and other fun activities. Choose from log cabins, cottages, deluxe rooms and more and visit the two full-service marinas during your stay.
