The perfect place to find bright new statement pieces for your wardrobe is the Ivy Jane line at Baglady Boutique. The store has carried the line for eight years, and just keeps growing its collection of tunics, dresses, pants, shorts, tanks, skirts and tops that are bursting with bright pinks, yellows and blues. The prints are bohemian and give tribute to retro looks, with florals, Aztec patterns, geometric shapes, chevron designs, stripes and animal prints. Ginny Redfern, owner of Baglady Boutique, says all the fabrics in the line are a distinctive mix of silks, linens, wools and cotton. Some of her favorite pieces are the tunics. “You can throw them on with leggings and boots,” she says. “They’re comfortable but you still look cute.”

Redfern says the whole Ivy Jane line focuses on providing a comfortable fit, and she loves the cute coats and jackets that can be worn all day long because they’re lightweight while still looking like outerwear.

One of the things that sets the line apart is that all the pieces build on last season’s shipments, Redfern says. “It’s not too matchy-matchy but everything coordinates,”   she says. And they’re investment pieces. “It’s a piece that you’ll have in your closet for years and years,” she says. “It’s a line that stays relevant.”
