Good Clean Wine at Your Door
Springfield, Missouri’s very own Good Clean Wine will now come right to your door thanks to a new subscription service. Elle Feldman and Courtney Dunlop’s line of naturally-processed wines, which includes a red, white, sparkling rosé and sparkling white, launched last year with the goal of providing good wine stateside. Not only is it stateside, but it’s abundantly available in southwest Missouri at retail locations like Macadoodles. So, what are you waiting for? Subscribe to have wine come right to your door.
New Food at The Coffee Ethic
You’ve heard about, and maybe even seen, The Coffee Ethic’s new remodel. Now, you can taste their new menu items, too. The downtown staple has been serving small bites and treats since its inception, but now they have even more to offer. The tahini chocolate overnight oats, which are vegan, seem to have already caught the eye of a few local foodies. There’s also the vegan coconut berry overnight oats as well as two hot oatmeal options and more to come soon!
Taj Grill in Joplin
You’ve heard me wax poetic about Indian food before. As much as I love the existing options for Indian cuisine in 417-land, there’s always room for more of my favorite cuisine. So, I’m excited to share that a new Indian restaurant has opened in Joplin. Taj Grill serves the classics like dal, butter chicken and tikka masala. But, what sets them apart from other Indian establishments is their Indian breakfast menu. The aloo pratha is a flaky flatbread stuffed with potatoes—perfect if you’re a savory breakfast kind of person. The egg bhurji leans a bit more toward the American breakfast front with scrambled eggs cooked with onions, bell peppers and Indian spices and comes served with flatbread and hot masala chai. Consider this one for your next breakfast outing.
Fine Dining on the Branson Landing
Pasta lovers rejoice. A new, fine-dining Italian restaurant is scheduled to open at Branson Landing this fall. Ramata Italian will be a spacious and luxurious Italian restaurant situated along lake Taneycomo, with indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant comes from HCW Development, the same company that owns and operates the Landing as well as Level 2 Steakhouse in the Branson Convention Center hotel. The menu at Ramata will include homemade pastas, fresh fish sourced from Hawaii, as well as pizzas, soups, salads and Italian desserts. Whether you choose to visit for a nice family dinner, a unique chef’s table experience or to sip on a glass of imported wine, Ramata sounds like it will be quite the experience.
